The WWW uses the concept of hypertext and hypermedia. Hypertext means text with links to other text. Documents written as hypertext contain text that when” clicked on” by the user with a mouse, links to other documents. It contains only text where as hyper media documents can contain pictures, graphics and sound. The unit of hypertext of hyper media available on the web is called a page. The main page for originations is called home page.
