Define markup tags or tags

The tags actually work as commands of the html language. Html tag is a signal to a browser that it should do something other than just throw the text up on the screen. Each html tag is enclosed within angled brackets (<>) or wickets. They begin with open angled bracket (<) and end with closed angled bracket (>). There are two types of tags used in html:

Singular tags
